HTF Metlox Candy Boy Cookie Jar/ Vintage 1950 Collectible Cookie Jar / Poppytrail USA California Pottery

A California Pottery company; located in Manhattan Beach (1927-80). Although a few jars were made in the earlier years, the majority of the cookie jar production started in the 1950s. Metlox jars are known for their quality and craftsmanship, with a look and feel that is unmistakable.

This is the second pair of the Candy Kids- the boy is very hard to find. The cap is a replacement from the Pinocchio sculpt. The original cap was a news boy style and very unfortunately lost.

There is a touch up around the lid and a stable hairline crack on the back off the lid. Overall very nice condition with minimal paint loss.
