Iconic 1920-30's cartoon figures of the Silent Movie and Jazz era created by George Studdy. Desmond was starring in short cartoon movie intros. The last photo is Louise Brooks (famed silent movie actress) with stuffed animal versions of, Dismal Desmond (left) and Bonzo (right), circa 1928.

Both ceramic figures are in excellent condition, no chips or flea bite, and very minimal wear to the cold paint accents; missing the bottom cork.
